THE MOMA
Streamlining Institutional Design
INTRODUCTION
The MoMA Design Store consists of an online shop, three store in New York City and two in Japan. The products are curated to meet criteria in innovation, design, and/or connection to the museum collection and exhibitions. Every purchase contributes to MoMA's educational programs, making the online presence a vital channel for conveying the museum's essence and showcasing the store's distinctive offerings.
OBJECTIVES
-
Manage design objectives from marketing, merchandising, and creative teams for all website and email needs
-
Design and deploy all email campaigns and web assets, ensuring timely execution, or delegate tasks to team members.
-
Uphold brand guidelines while exploring opportunities to tailor designs uniquely for each campaign.
Consistently, components of the homepage need to be updated to reflect the new priorities from the marketing and merchandising teams. I managed these updates, from design concepts to implementation using minor coding.
Above are a couple emails I designed. The MoMA brand aesthetic is tidy and simple that relies on beautiful in-house photography of the product and concise copy to sell the products associated with the world-renowned museum.
